Kimila Daniels Joins UW Credit Union Board of Directors

UWCU’s governing body welcomes experienced business and community leader with passion for financial empowerment

MADISON, WI – Jan. 25, 2023 – Kimila Daniels has joined the UW Credit Union Board of Directors.

“Her leadership experience and expertise complement our organization well,” says Paul Kundert, president and CEO of UW Credit Union. “Kimila brings a wealth of executive and governance leadership experience, including corporate administration, human resources, culture, organizational design, and diversity, equity and inclusion.”

Most recently chief administrative officer at Quartz Health Solutions, Daniels also has held leadership positions with Lionsgate and Horace Mann Companies. She currently serves on the City of Madison Personnel Board.

Within the community, Daniels has been active with the YWCA of Madison, the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County, United Way of Dane County and the Madison Area Diversity Roundtable.

Daniels holds a bachelor’s degree in business and organizational behavior from Greenville University and a master’s in management and organizational behavior from Benedictine University. She is also a certified diversity practitioner.

UW Credit Union is governed by a board of directors comprised of volunteers who are active credit union members. This group is legally responsible by statute, articles of incorporation and bylaws for the overall direction of the organization’s affairs. The Board carries out this responsibility by establishing guiding policies and monitoring the performance of management within the framework of these policies.
